Tell me about the word sort you did today. What words did you put together? Why did you put them together? Did you put them in some sort of order? Why did you put them in that order? Did your team agree with the sort? If someone disagreed, how did you handle it?

We chose the title “Different Times” because the whole entire page is basically about the different times. There are the different times of months, seasons, and times of the day, times of seconds, min., hours, day, weeks, fortnight, months, years, decade and century. There are times about, spring, summer, fall/autumn and winter. There are times of a couple of the months. Last but not least… the time of the day. The reason that we put the chart this way is because, on the months, W. put them in the order of the months even though that not all of the months are there. A1. put the seasons that way because he thought that it would look better if he put the seasons in the correct order from spring to summer, fall to winter. A. did the time difference in the day. S. did the time difference from dawn to dusk. If someone disagreed we asked them why they thought what they did and we would agree or disagree with them. If we did not agree than we would say no and then we would move on. The teacher said that there was right or wrong answer as long as we could prove it.
We chose the title Pieces of a Century because everything left in it is less than a century. We sorted one pile by anything more than a day that can go to a century. Another way we sorted one was, months the first to the last. The whole day column we went from dawn to dusk and another column are the seasons. We showed all the seasons. J disagreed for putting day with century. We voted and it went with century. There was no wrong answer unless you couldn’t explain it. These people helped me J and T.
We named our title Different Times. I did most of the gluing for our group. My kind of group was the seasons. W did the months. S did the times of the days. A2 did second, minute, hour, day, week, fortnight, month, year, decade, and century. We had to work together to sort the words and to make the chart. I wrote the title to our chart. They had to glue their own section on. We had work hard to make the chart. Our team agreed with all of the words and if we thought it wasn’t right we would have to explain it. S and W made the title. W and I were looking up all the words that S couldn’t find. The reason we put the graph in order is because we thought the time in the day. S did dawn, morning, noon, afternoon, evening, dusk, night, and midnight. W did April, May, July, September, October, and December. I did spring, summer, fall, autumn, and winter.
We named the title of our graph Different Times. We sorted our charts by different times like months, times of the day, time, and seasons. My kind of time is months. The reason we put the graph in this order is because we thought of the time in the day. I was the one to put the words in the order on the chart. A1 and A2 did most of the gluing in the group. We sorted words about time. My teammates names were A1, a2 and A3. First we cut out the cards and we sorted them. Next we glued them to a piece of paper. Then we added a title called the Times of the World. We picked that title because on the paper the cards tell us that they all look like parts of time. The first column says that the time is about different times of the day. The second column says that there are different times of the seasons. The third column says that there are different times in the months. The fourth column says that there are different times in every minute second or day. We put together words like the months and different times of the day. We put them in order because we didn’t want them to be random. There were a few of disagreements but we got along pretty well with the project and our teammates. If someone disagreed I would look it over and if I was wrong I would fix it and thank my teammates for finding and correcting my mistake.
We did this sorting deal that we had to sort words. Then we made a title ¬¬for the all the words. The title we came up with was called Time. All the words had to do with Time. We put all the months in one row. Then we put the seasons in one row. We put time in one row. Then we put the times of days in another row. There was no right or wrong way to sort them.
This is how we made our word sort. We sorted them by year, seasons, months and time. To sort them we talked about it as a group to decide where it goes on the page. The name of our graph is “The Pieces of the Century”. My team thinks that day goes in year but I think it goes in time.

The four seasons are winter, fall, spring and summer. Another title for the chart is measure of time. The parts of the day are on the chart. They are morning, dawn, noon, afternoon, evening, dusk, night, midnight. We had to sort the cards before gluing and adding the title. My team and I worked together to accomplish this project. When the whole team disagrees we handle it. It does not matter if the answers are wrong. This was the best project ever. This was really fun.
The title we chose was Pieces of the Century. The reason we chose Pieces of Century was because they are all Pieces of the Century. We did put some words together. The words that we put together were the things that went with months, things that went with seasons, things that went with time, things that went with the whole day, and things that went with year. I did put them in order. The reasons I put them in that order was because it makes it easier to know what order I put them in. Someone did disagree. They disagreed on where the word day went. R and I said that it went with century but J thought that it should go with time. We handled it by talking together and voting where the word should go. R and I decided that it should go with century. So that is where it went.

We had to chose a title and we called it Time because all of them are measure of time for example one of the measure of time seconds, minutes, hours , days, weeks, fortnights, months, years, decades, century. Another measure of time the season spring, summer, falls, autumn and winter. The next measure of time is the months like April, May, July, and more. I think our team was the best team in our classroom because every time we disagreed we will handle it. I like the way that we can’t get the wrong answer. I hope we do this again.

We glued the words in order on the red large paper. We set the paper on the floor for the project. We put all words in order. We put them in order because we were sorting them in order. There is no wrong or right answer. The reason why we sorted the words was because that was part of the project.

We also made another pile for dawn, day, morning, afternoon, noon, evening, dusk, night and midnight because all these words happen in a day. Another pile we made was summer, autumn, winter, spring and fall we but all these words together because they are all seasons. Another pile we made was July, September, December, May, October and April we but all these words together because they all are months. There was no right or wrong answer. We put the words in order like this; we put the ones that are the same we also put them were we thought it was going to go. My teams agreed were we were putting the word they also agreed about the sort.
I and my group decide our title should be The Words because they were all words. In a pile there were July, September, December, May, October because they are months. Summer, autumn, winter, spring, fall those are seasons of the year. Dawn, day, morning, afternoon, noon, evening, dusk, night, and midnight were parts of the day. Century, decade, year, month, week, fortnight those are parts of the century. Second, minute, hour are parts of days. In my group there was a person that disagreed and the rest of my group agreed with my friend.
