This is what I learned about magnets. I learned that magnets only attract stuff that has iron and steel in it. Another thing that I did not know was they are in phones and credit cards. Here is another thing I did not know about magnets they sometimes are used on trains. I did not know that magnets are used on cd players. When I felt the magnetic field of the magnet it felt like electricity moving around. Another way it felt like was force pushing and pulling.
I love how the magnets have a magnetic pulse. I think that having a compass or a magnet with you at all times if you go anywhere by yourself, in order to find your way back home. I also think that the other most important thing is you should keep the magnet away from electronics, because it will ruin the electronics and you will never get to use them again. We learned that the magnet has the south end and the north end. We also learned that the south and the north end stick and the north end and the other north end push the other away. When we used the round and the square magnets, we knew that the sides were the south part and the north part was on the edges. We learned how to make a magnet, by rubbing an object on a magnet and then taking the object. Putting it close to another object it should stick to the magnet. We learned that the magnet is attracted to iron and steel and it is not attracted to any other kind of material. The last thing that we learned is that if we are lost we can use the magnet to find our way back, because it works like a compass.
I think magnets are awesome! I learned that you can make a magnet just by rubbing a needle on a magnet. The magnet has a magnetic force. Magnets have a north and south pole. Magnets only pick up iron and steel. Magnets are useful for sorting things. They are useful for holding stuff up on the refrigerator. Here are some examples of some different kinds of magnets, there is a bar magnet, a horse shoe magnet, a rectangular magnet and a round magnet.
Magnets are so cool. Magnets are metal that picks up stuff that is metal and steel. Magnets do not pick up stuff that is plastic wood or copier. Magnets has two magnetic poles ones north and ones south. You can use a magnet to find a box were you hid paperclips you just hold it against the box and see if the paperclips are hidden in the box. Magnets have a magnetic force around it. Magnets are in compass the magnet is moved were you move it. If you had two magnets and you put them together they will either come together or move away. Big magnets track big pieces of steel and metal. If you put a paperclip in a jar and get a magnet then put it on the jar then it moves the paperclip.
Magnets are useful in many ways. They are useful in compasses to help you find your way. There are two different poles on a magnet. I learned that if you put two of the same poles together they don’t attract. If two opposite poles come together they attract. There are many different types of magnets such as a horseshoe magnet, bar magnet, and an electro magnet. The rectangular magnets have a very strong force so do the bar magnets and the circle magnet. The world has a magnetic field just like a magnet. Magnets attract iron and steel. Magnets attract many different things like screws and paper clips.

Get the needle and scrape the needle with the magnet 12 times. Now get the screw grab the needle but the needle on top of the screw. Now the needle is a magnet for a little while. Here is another trick. If you get a 1 cup of glass, 1 paper clip and a magnet. Now put the paper clip in the glass cup. Now put the glass cup sideways. Grab the magnet. Put the magnet below the glass cup. Now the paper clip moves. Show that to your little sister or brother. MAGIC!

If the poles are different they will connect to each other. Magnets attract to steel and iron. The rectangle magnets force is stronger than the bar magnets force. The rectangle magnets and the circle magnets are not labeled.
Magnets will only stick to types of metals. They stick to iron, steel but they don’t stick to copper and silver. There are two poles one is north and the other one is south. If you have two magnets and you put north and the other north together one of the north’s will push the other magnets away it’s the same thing with the south. The circle magnet has more force than the stick magnets because I tried it.
Magnets are so cool. The reason I think magnets are so cool because they attract other magnets and because they look like magic and I think magic is so awesome. Most magnets attract steel or some magnets attract iron. Magnets have two poles. The two poles are North Pole and South Pole. When you get a magnet you can’t put it by the same pole because it won’t connect. The bar magnets are different from the circle magnets because when you try to put the same pole together the circle magnet has a stronger force than the bar magnet. The bar magnets do have a force when you put the same pole together but it’s not a strong force. If you have some plastic buttons and some iron screws all you have to do to separate them is get a magnet and put it on top of all of the buttons and screws. Then once you put it on top of the buttons and screws it should pick up the screws that are made of iron.
The magnets are cool they can make another magnet you just rub it on the iron or metal then it is a magnet. The magnet has a North Pole and a South Pole. The magnets are like a compass to find the way to the North Pole and the South Pole so you won’t lose your place. You can use a battery pack to make magnets; you need 2 cords and the just put them together and then they are magnets. On the magnets if you put the North Pole with the other North Pole it will go away from each other also the same with the South Pole.
