Butterfly Project Day 6

The larvae changed a lot over the weekend. The larvae are getting bigger and bigger every day. They also got longer. They ate a lot of their food. They used to be less than a centimeter now they are about an inch long. The larvae will probably grow some more over the night. It looks like some are going to make their cocoon soon and become butterflies. The things on the larvae that look pointy are not sharp. There are about twenty larvae. So there will be about twenty butterflies after they make their cocoon. If a cocoon drops the butterfly will have less of a chance of surviving.
